We are engaged in a battle where we’re already positioned for victory through Jesus Christ. The Word sets the foundation in 1 Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses” (New King James Version). This verse is a call to action, and a reminder that faith is active, requiring us to stand firm and hold fast to what God has promised.
